From the time I was a toddler, I loved pretending to take photos — until my mom gifted me my first real camera at just 10 years old. Since then, photography has been more than a hobby; it’s been a calling. After an incredible two years serving as missionaries in Brazil alongside my husband, we have recently returned home to South Africa. We are now based in beautiful Knysna, where we are stepping into an exciting new season of planting a church and mission base. Through all the moving and ministry, photography continues to be one of the main ways I share the beauty I see in the world.

My heart behind the lens is to capture people the way God sees them. My style is a blend of documentary and cinematic, focusing on storytelling. I love photographing people doing what they love, with the ones they love, because that’s when the biggest smiles and most authentic emotions shine through.
